Search by using specific job occupation criteria

• Searching by Department, Independent Agency, Bureau, or Organizational Subcomponent allows the user to search for job opportunities within specified sectors of the Department of Defense
• Searching by Location allows the user to search for Department of Defense job opportunities within certain locations worldwide
• Searching by Series Number and/or Occupational Series allows the user to search for Department of Defense jobs using a number that the DoD has assigned to each job occupation. Series numbers and occupational series are classified in terms of the following: subject matter of work, level of difficulty, level of responsibility, and qualification requirements. Arrangement of series ensures fair and equal treatment for positions within a class
• Searching by Salary Range allows the user to search by yearly income
• Searching by Pay Grade Range allows the user to search occupation depending on entry-level, mid-level, or top-level qualifications

After specifying search criteria, click "Search for Jobs"

All of the career announcements applicable to the search criteria will be generated. A synopsis of the job's closing application date, job summary, agency, location, and salary will be provided

To receive further information regarding a job vacancy announcement, click on the job title. A more in-depth overview of the job, duties associated with the job, necessary qualifications and how applicants will be evaluated, benefits and any additional information, and how one can apply for the job announcement will be provided.
