Job Fairs / Career Day

These events provide an excellent opportunity to meet with a variety of MTU students and alumni. Two job fairs are hosted on the MTU campus, Career Day and the Winter Job Fair. Career Day is held in mid October and co-sponsored with Alpha Kappa Psi. The Winter Job Fair is held in February each year and sponsored by the Career Center. More information about companies attending and dates can be found at Job Fair Information

Co-op and Summer Employment

workingMichigan Tech is very active in its co-op and summer internship programs. Both programs offer employers the opportunity to benefit from the most recent technological advances being taught at MTU, while providing students with relevant work experience. Michigan Tech has a voluntary co-op program with flexibility for student and employer needs. For more information about our co-op program, click here.

Resume Prescreening

Current resumes of our students are available for employer review and prescreening. These resumes are accessible for any employer seeking qualified college-level candidates for co-op, summer, or permanent employment opportunities.

On Campus Recruiting

Beginning each year in September and ending in late May, Michigan Tech attracts employers from around the country to conduct on-campus interviews with students for full-time, summer, and co-op positions within their organizations. We would like you to enjoy the personal service we give our corporate guests who interview on campus.

Video-Interviewing

workingEmployers who are unable to come to campus but still wish to interview are able to do so via live interactive video-conferencing technology. If you have a limited travel budget, need to interview in a hurry, or wish to interview only a small number of students, video-interviews provide an excellent opportunity for your company. Learn more or visit the Educational Technology department's site.
