Common Problems
- I can't login with my username and password!
- Make sure you are using your email address ( userid@mtu.edu )
- For Freshmen and Transfer Students starting in Fall 06, you password will be the last 4 digits of your M Number
- For Students and Alumni, your passwords will still be either your SS#, M Number, or whatever password you chose
- If you still can't login, send an email to career@mtu.edu
- I am unable to upload my resumes and/or cover letters!
- Make sure your documents are in RTF or Microsoft Word Format.
- Make sure they are less than 400K in size.
- If you have used Open Office to save a document in Word Format, try saving the file again using Microsoft Word.
- If you are using Office 2007, save the document in Word 97-2003 format. Then upload the file.
- I have had zero employers look at my resume since I uploaded it!
- Did you publish it into the correct resume book?
- If your resume is in the correct resume book, you may want to meet with a Career Center advisor to review your resume.
